Traveling now seeing children and grand-children
So much a mother still, caring for them all
Able to enjoy sights and travels, books now
New relationships and friendships with her grown children

Grandchildren to spoil
Dress them up, cuddle them, kiss them
Read to them, watch them, sing with them
Feed them, play with them, see them smile

Handling hard challenges and trials in stride
Keeping the family together being a strength
Acts of service everyday, so watchful of the needs of others
Following our lives with interest and love

A strong woman of courage, charity and sacrifice
Supporting, leading, keeping things together

Something new

Mom was saying that she goes shopping once a month. I took a jump and I'm trying that this month. I just got back from Costco and I spent so much money, but I just keep telling myself it's for the whole month. I quickly divided things into ziplock bags so we won't go through them so fast and I do plan on buying milk and fresh veggies weekly but I think this will be nice and I'll have one less errand every week. Has anyone else tried this once a month shopping? How has it worked for you?
